Yes, the doppleganger won't use HB unless it suffers degen so you can use it to heal and he won't. What's your 2nd? If warrior equip frenzy but don't use it, if necro, sacrifices with no points in the attribute. Think about stuff like that and look at the skills you have.

Default Yeah try this next time

Gratz on getting it, but if there is ever someone that can't be the doppleganger tell them to switch their secondary profession to ranger if not already. Then bring 4 spirits with long cast times, no healing skills, get a bow and pack as many attirbuite points you can into marksmanship. Bring 4 attacking skills but dont have any of them interuption skills. Then while he is casting what should be 16 second cast time total, gun him down

A CHapter 1 only account cant just "change to ranger" for spirits. You have to kill the dopple to change your secondaries.

SOmeone with Factions chould get to Senji's Corner and just buy acces sto ranger secondary for 500gp though.

Anyway, You can do it even faster with Monk/Warrior. I think the average is around 7-8 secs if you bring the right skills.

You do not have to beat the dopple to change secondaries. You only need to do the change quests.

Any Factions characters already at Senji's are the equivilant of ascended.

But didn't you have to beat the Dopple in order for the quests to show up?

I honestly can't remember.

Pretty sure I'd done them before, but it's been months since I wasted any time in Tyria.

You would be wrong then.

Can not change professions in Prophecies until you Ascend, Factions until you become Closer to the Stars.
